Updated

Flodo is a todo app for Mac and iPhone, made by one person. It has no accounts, no analytics and no ads. This page says what it stores and where.

What Flodo stores

Your tasks, lists, notes, reminders, and a count of how many tasks you have created. That is all. It lives on your device, in the app’s own storage.

iCloud sync

With iCloud sync on (the default), the same data is kept in your private iCloud database through Apple’s CloudKit, so your Mac and iPhone see the same tasks. Only your Apple Account can read it. I, the developer, cannot see it, and Flodo has no server of its own.

Turn sync off in Settings and your data stays on that device only.

Reminders and the widget

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. The Lock Screen widget reads a small copy of your Today tasks that the app writes to shared storage on the same device.

Purchases

The lifetime membership is sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles payment; Flodo only learns whether the purchase exists.

Updates in the direct-download Mac version

The Mac version previously downloaded from this site checks for updates against dl.flodo.fehey.com. That request carries the app version and macOS version, and no identifier. The App Store version does not do this.

Nothing else

No analytics, no crash reporting, no third-party SDKs, no tracking. This website remembers your language choice in a cookie and counts visits with a privacy-focused analytics service.

Deleting your data

Delete tasks in the app, or delete the app. To remove the iCloud copy as well, open Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage and remove Flodo (on Mac: System Settings → Apple Account → iCloud).
